THE ASCETIC ENCHANTER (Nuri Granth – Vol. I - Page 545)

Soon will come the Ascetic Enchanter,
And anguished by their longing, are the loving devotees!

From a distance we hear the music of flutes and clarinets,
Surely, we will not be disappointed in our hopes and expectations!

In the middle of the night,
loud is the music of the clarinets,
And surely He will respond to our calls of longing!

Indeed fortunate I am, for unto my abode He will soon reach,
And my love for the Beloved dances with ecstasy in my eyes!

Friends and companions, pray give me your felicitations,
Pray come, and let us together make our humble obeisance before the Beloved!

Arise, and sing your song of adoration unto the Beloved,
O Nuri Nimani,
Indeed fortunate you are, as unto the door of the Beloved,
you have surrendered yourself!
